Older population in Alabama: The MDS Frequency Report for all quarters from 2011 to 2019 for the state of Alabama and displaying the age bracket for the residents: Through the years 2011 to 2012 the frequencies were not steady and rather up and down every quarter.
The age bracket 0-30 has the lowest frequency of residents followed by the age bracket 95> with the second lowest frequency. The age bracket with the highest frequency in the state of Alabama from the quarters of the years 2011-2019 were 75 to 84, which started out at 30.51% from the 4th quarter in 2011 increasing and decreasing until it reached 29.14% in the first quarter of the year 2019 and 85 to 95 that went from 32.43% in 2011 to 27.49% in the first quarter of 2019. While those two age brackets have the highest frequency percentage in the first quarter of 2019, both of them were also still declining as well from when then data was recorded in the fourth quarter of 2011. Starting from the year 2011 the age distribution for the age bracket 0 to 30 declined from 2011 to 2019, age bracket 74 to 84 declined from 2011 to 2019 and, ages 85 to 95 slowly declined from the years 2011 to 2019.
Increases in frequency with the age distributions from the years 2011 to the year 2019 were shown in the age bracket for ages 31 to 64 and for the ages 65 to 74. Some of the highest frequencies were also recorded in the year 2012 for all of the age brackets. The state total for all the years 2011 to 2019 also fluctuated up and down from 100 to a couple hundred but it was nothing major as the steady declines In between those years increased again up to the 2019 first quarter.
